We are on the Gold Coast Highway in Miami, right between Burleigh Heads and Mermaid Beach. One of the best spots on the southern Gold Coast if you want beaches, food, and an easy commute without paying Surfers Paradise prices.

Burleigh Headland National Park - 10 minute walk. The iconic coastal walk with ocean views, wallabies, and whale watching in season. One of the best free walks on the Gold Coast.
James Street - cafes, bars, boutiques. Where everyone ends up on a Saturday morning.
Miami Marketta - live music and street food every Friday and Saturday night. No entry fee.
Justins Park - beachfront park, outdoor gym, fish and chips at sunset. Classic Burleigh.
Groceries and Essentials
Aldi is directly across the road. Coles at Miami One is a couple of minutes drive or a short walk. You do not need a car to stock up on breakfast supplies or snacks.
Having a kitchenette in your room means you can save money on meals. Grab some bread, milk, and fruit from Aldi and you have sorted breakfast for a few dollars instead of $25 at a cafe.
Getting Here Without a Car
You do not need a car to stay with us. Public transport on the Gold Coast is better than most people think, and Burleigh is well connected.
From Gold Coast Airport
Route 777 runs direct from Gold Coast Airport and stops right out front of the motel. Takes about 25 minutes. Runs daily from 5:15am to 11:30pm, every 15 minutes during peak times.
No need to book a shuttle or pay for a taxi. Just grab a Go Card at WHSmith in Domestic Arrivals and tap on.
Getting Around
Route 700 connects Burleigh to Broadbeach, Surfers Paradise, and Coolangatta. You can get anywhere on the Coast without a car.
Route 760 runs to Varsity Lakes Train Station if you need to get to Brisbane.

Fares
Bus fares are just 50c per trip with a Go Card. Or tap on with your Visa or Mastercard - no Go Card needed.
If you are doing a lot of travel, grab a Go Explore Card - $10/day adults, $5/day kids for unlimited buses and trams.
Light Rail Coming 2026
The G:link light rail extension to Burleigh is under construction now. By 2026, you will be able to tram it from Burleigh all the way to Broadbeach, Surfers Paradise, Southport, and Helensvale station for trains to Brisbane.

Burleigh is one of the most romantic spots on the Coast. Sunset walks along the beach, drinks at James Street bars, dinner at Rick Shores or The Tropic. You do not need to pay resort prices to have a great couples getaway.

We keep it simple so we can keep the prices down. If you want a resort, there are plenty of those on the Coast. If you want a clean, affordable room with the essentials, we are your spot.
