We are in Miami QLD, on the Gold Coast Highway at Christine Avenue, between Burleigh Heads (south) and Miami Beach (north). Burleigh Beach is 200m from our door, straight down Sixth Avenue.

Burleigh Heads border accommodation — Miami, not the village
The brand says Burleigh. The address says Miami. Both are true, and they are not the same street.
1908–1910 Gold Coast Highway, Miami QLD 4220, corner of Christine Avenue. We are not in Burleigh Heads village. James Street, Justins Park, Burleigh Head National Park and the G:link Burleigh Heads terminus sit south of us — along the Oceanway, or two tram stops (Second Avenue, then Burleigh Heads).
The sand 200m down Sixth Avenue is the north end of Burleigh Beach — North Burleigh SLSC and North Burleigh Lookout sit at this end, not the headland. Same stretch of coast as the village. Our end of it.
Virgin Australia’s Where to Stay pick uses “in Burleigh Heads” as an area label. That award does not move the motel into the village. Suburb on the letterbox stays Miami.

Beach, bakery and Aldi are on foot. For the rest of the Coast, the Christine Avenue stop is on our corner.
G:link and bus 765 — same corner stop. North to Broadbeach, Surfers Paradise, Southport and Helensvale (Airtrain change for Brisbane Airport). South to Second Avenue and Burleigh Heads
