Blues on Broadbeach is one of Australia's largest music festivals — four days and nights of free live music across multiple stages in the heart of Broadbeach on the Gold Coast. In 2026 it runs from 14–17 May and celebrates its 25th anniversary. Over 600 artists have performed across a quarter century of the festival. The 2026 edition brings international headliners, Australian icons, and a paid Sunday Ticket show that is worth planning your whole trip around.
If you are coming for the festival — here is what you need to know about the lineup, the event, and where to stay without paying Broadbeach prices.

2026 Lineup — 25th Anniversary
Blues on Broadbeach 2026 is a free event across multiple outdoor stages throughout the Broadbeach precinct. The Sunday Ticket is a separate paid show. The full lineup spans four days.
Headliners — Free Stages
Ruthie Foster is a Grammy Award-winning vocalist and songwriter from Texas whose music crosses blues, gospel, soul, and folk. Multiple Blues Music Awards, a commanding stage presence, and a global following built on live performance. One of the strongest acts on the 2026 lineup.
Ian Moss returns for his third Blues on Broadbeach appearance, having first played the festival in 2002. The Australian music icon is performing as part of the 25th anniversary program.
Robert Finley is a Louisiana-born blues and soul singer who came to wider attention late in his career after being discovered busking. Raw, powerful, and one of the genuine stories of the contemporary blues scene.
The Lachy Doley Trio — Lachy Doley is a world-class keyboardist described as a high-voltage live performer. The trio has built a global following through tours and viral live footage. A staple of the
Australian blues circuit.
The Bamboos return for their third Blues on Broadbeach appearance. The Melbourne soul and funk group are a live act that consistently delivers.
MonoNeon is a Grammy Award-winning Memphis bassist known for collaborations with Prince. Genre-defying and internationally recognised.
Also on the free stages: Kevin Borich Express, Hussy Hicks, Grace Cummings, Jimi Hocking, Minnie Marks, Cass Eager, The Mojo Webb Band, Brothers feat. Frank Sultana, Mike Elrington, and more across all four days.

Sunday Ticket — The Teskey Brothers
The Sunday Ticket is a paid show featuring The Teskey Brothers in their festival debut, joined by Emma Donovan and Ash Grunwald. The Teskey Brothers are one of the best live acts in Australian music — soulful, powerful, and worth the ticket. This show sold out in 2025. Book early.
About the Festival
Blues on Broadbeach spans four blocks of the Broadbeach precinct — streets, parks, and venues all activated with live music across multiple outdoor stages. It is free to attend. Over four days and nights the suburb fills with music lovers from across Australia and internationally.
The festival has run since 2002. What started as a two-stage event with around 5,000 attendees has grown into one of Australia's largest music festivals. The 2026 edition marks 25 years and expands across more venues than previous years.
For the full festival experience, the Twelve Bar Society is the VIP option — private bar, up-close stage access, artist sessions, and a Secret Show. It sold out in 2025.
