Harbour Town Premium Outlets is Australia's largest outlet shopping centre. Nike, Adidas, Levi's, Oroton, Coach, Peter Alexander, Lorna Jane, Aje — and dozens more around open-air malls. Tenants change, so check the store directory before you go.

Free parking across the centre. The south carpark outside Woolworths has a two-hour limit; the other lots stay free and unrestricted for shoppers.
Couples and a girls' weekend
The shopping is the same trip for two or for four. What changes is the room, and what you do once the bags are down.
A couple: double from $125/night, Harbour Town in the morning, Crafty's for a feed, beach in the late arvo. More of that weekend lives on affordable couples adventures and romantic getaway Burleigh Heads.
A girls' weekend: Quad sleeps 4 from $185. Interconnecting sleeps 5–6, two rooms, two bathrooms, from $295. Coin laundry on site for the tags-still-on pile. Free parking for the haul — one permit per room, subject to availability. Upper-floor rooms are stairs; there is no lift.
Crafty's is on the eastern side of Harbour Town, near Harbour Town Eats and opposite Reading Cinema — craft beer, pub meals, outdoor seating. Useful when nobody wants to cook and the shopping is done.
Getting there from Burleigh Gold Coast Motel
By car: about 20 minutes north via the Gold Coast Highway and Olsen Avenue. Free parking at Harbour Town. On busy weekends, skip the Woolworths two-hour zone and use the unrestricted lots.
Without a car: G:link from the Christine Avenue stop on our corner north to Southport, then bus 704 to Harbour Town stop A. Fares are 50 cents with a go card or contactless tap on and off. Bus 700 is at Miami One (~300m) if you are already on the Gold Coast Highway.

After the shops — what is actually around the motel
This is the reason to base in Miami instead of next to the carpark.
Burleigh Beach — 200m down Sixth Avenue. Swim, sit, done. North Burleigh SLSC and North Burleigh Lookout are this end of the sand, not the headland.
Paddock Bakery — 150m. Wood-fired sourdough and breakfast from 6am.
Aldi — across the road. Microwave and bar fridge in every room, so breakfast does not have to be a cafe bill.
Outdoor pool — on site, open all year, free for guests.
Miami Marketta — Wednesday, Friday and Saturday nights. Street food, live music, no booking for a table of four.
James Street — two tram stops south (Second Avenue, then Burleigh Heads). Cafes and dinner. It is not a two-minute walk from the motel.

Harbour Town itself sits close to the northern strip if you want a second stop the same day: Sea World about 5 minutes from the outlets, Marina Mirage and Main Beach about 10, Surfers Paradise about 15. Those times are from Harbour Town, not from us.
